The contemporary Shunga paintings of Senju explores human sensuality and sexuality.

Sometimes, time has to come into play. Time to grow, aquire skills and confidence. Also time to reflect upon what has brought you to the point where you are today.
Yesterday is a ghost and tomorrow will never come. Somewhere in between those two undeniable facts of the universe art is born.
When I now contemplate my first attempt at transforming this idea into an actual painting (you will find that first attempt in the last image. It's from 20 17) I realise how hampering the idea of having to stick to some former style or idea really is.
All to often, almost constantly, we establish our "I" and then fight teeth and claws to prove that we are what we once said we were. It is an exercise in futility. Life is endless change and waits for no one.
So if one wants to become an artist, one makes best in throwing away all fixed ideas about what art is. Throw away good and bad. Destroy success and failure. There is only work. And work. And work again. Your last piece will tell who you were just before you died. We will never get closer than that.tantric cosmic
