“Kuchidzuke” (the kiss – revisited)

$29$240

The contemporary Shunga paintings of Senju explores human sensuality and sexuality.

Almost two years after the release of his homage to the great painter Gustav Klimt, Senju revisits the initial idea in order to see what difference artistic and personal evolution makes when it comes to creating art. Through it all the idea of human love remains the lighthouse that guides us away from the treacherous sharp rocks hiding in the dark waters of the heart.

Printed on  heavy matt high quality paper. Signed and numbered limited edition of 50 copies in each size. Each individual print is stamped with the artist's personal read seal (hanko).

Senju's art is rooted deeply in traditional Japanese art, especially the erotic and sensual world of Shunga.
